Sunday School Classes
Blanche Pecora Class
This class of 50-year-olds and up is named for a Sunday School teacher who taught most of our children. We meet in the Conference Room. We study The Adult Bible Series and are lead by five better-than-great teachers who rotate teaching opportunities. We "adopt" a needy family for Christmas and support the Juvenile Detention Ministry. We helped supply some of the needed items for the remodeled church and will continue to respond to charitable needs. We like to have fun and are always looking for an excuse to have a potluck get-together. We love our church, we love our class, and we love our God. We welcome new members to our class.
The Roberts Class (formerly, The Irion Class) is made up of mature adults who study the International Sunday School lesson and other curriculum. The class formed in the 1960's; many of the original members are still active. There are four regular teachers who alternate among various Sundays. The lesson presentation typically begins in a lecture format, but there is a relaxed and open opportunity for questions and comments. The class primarily uses the International Lesson materials, although discussion often examines current relevancy or the Biblical references. Throughout the year, the class enjoys 2-3 socials.
Igert Hall Class
Adults of all ages welcome- no perfect people allowed! This class focuses on specific chapters of the Bible each week. The class meets in Igert Hall.
This class meets in the Church Parlor (behind the Sanctuary) and is taught by Tom Russell. Participants generally range from ages 25-50 and include both couples and singles. Group participation and discussion on current topics bring scripture and outreach into focus. It is a great venue to meet others in the church and a connecting point to serving in the church.

Handy Person Ministry
Our Mission Team sponsors a Handy Person Ministry. This Ministry goes out into the community once a month to provide home repair for those who cannot otherwise afford it. They also build wheel chair ramps and porches to make houses handicapped accessible.
